I am the manager of Cougar Ridge Federal Savings and Loan, a position of some importance here in a town full of big money. My wife Emilia is a home maker, and my daughter Daria is a student who also works as a contributor for the local paper, until she leaves for Dartmouth. She is a talented writer, though a bit rebellious. I run a tight ship, both at the bank and at home. I insist on order and professionalism int he work place, and in my life. This town has a lot of important people in it, and they can't see me as a weak man if they're going to trust me with their finances.
